Hey, just wanted to put a Space down for Bobby Money. I know alot of new or even returning people here don't even know me or my character, so feel free to ask me anything you want. Well, almost anything
You can also ask me questions concerning Maniac Mark Mayhem, Selena and some of my other past alter egos (Canadian Monster Rage, The Punisher, Hiro, & Bubba King).
I'll be writting on different subject matters at times. Some out of character and other's in character, but generally it will be about moi. Here are some questions I got from the last forum we were in. I decided to post it here, but with my answers being more for what's going on now in the present. Theses are Out of roleplay questions. I will try to be as honest as I can in answering the questions.
Q: Bobby, what was your first e-fed experience and how long have you been roleplaying?
A: My first e-fed experience was NBA (When it was Nothing But Action), back when it first started in the Impact Wrestling days. I believe I was one of the first members. To be honest, when I fist bumped into the group, I thought it was an Basketball fantasy game. I like what I saw, studied up on what fantasy wrestling was all about, and my first and always main character has been Bobby Money, a heel manager/commentator turned wrestler.
Q: Tell us a bit more about your character. Where did you come up with his name? Is he based on any main stream wrestler we know today?
A: Originally, I wanted to create a modern day Bobby the Brain Heenan/Ted Dibiase. People don't realize that at one point in his career, Heenan was a Wrestler, commentator and manager. He was also very good at all three. He was one of the biggest heels of his time and so was Dibiase. But as time went on, my character evolved into a loud mouth, spoiled, arrogant, power hungry rich kid, and I eventually went the opposite of Heenan's and Dibiase's careers. They started as wrestlers and ended up managing and commentating. I started commentating and managing and now I am a full time wrestler. Bobby is a heel leader. He generally doesn't like anyone. If you want to know more, just read my profile. I came up with "Big Time" from the theme song used in a wrestlemania.
Q: Why NBA? You are one of the originals who have stuck with the e-fed from day one. What attracted you to NBA?
A: Why not? Seriously though, there are alot of great e-feds out there and some that claim that they are the best (which I really hate when they claim that). NBA has never claimed to be the best. In fact when I didn't like where the NBA was going I was always one of the first to speak up, but NBA was still a very young e-fed and still evolving and growing. This was truly built from the ground up. This isn't a fed that combined with another. So yeah, Lots of trial and error. No offense to anyone, but other feds didn't even have at least three years and they already had Hall of Famers and ego boosting crap like that, lol. Plus, I remember when NBA closed for a short time on impact. People (not to mention any names) were talking so much crap about NBA not being a stable fed, when their own feds were close to closing themselves or would have periods of inactivity or even have really late shows. Kind of hypocritical if you ask me. The truth is it happens to all feds, especially new ones, that's why it's called trial & error. NBA is a place where I can find people with my same interests. I place I can be myself. Not to mention, the friendliest staff I know. We're not the greatest, but then really no fed is, no matter how they hype themselves up, but they will make you feel welcomed and will give you a chance to grow and improve. Also, I like that it's a promo/storyline based fed.
Q: Speaking of storylines, which has been your favorite storyline to date?
A: At this moment, I am really liking the current storyline of the missing owner, Beverly Hyatt. Just when I think I got it figured out, they mess with my head and do something unexpected yet very good. Kudos to whoever thought of it. Nice plot twists. But to be biased, I also enjoyed the storyline where Bobby Money wins possession of the Hyatt empire for a time. I was actually given the opportunity to book the wildest matches at that time and I really enjoyed it. It was the first time I was given a chance to work on a storyline with Ben, Beverly and Missy. They needed me to step up and I did. I also liked the storyline of the FTW reeking havoc (nWo style) on NBA, and I don't know if you guys remember the "Who framed Eddie G? storyline" That was hilarious. Who came up with that one?
Q: Name some of your favorite mainstream wrestlers, and some of your favorite e-fed wrestler's. Do you have any favorites?
A: Chris Benoit used to be, until he fricked up his career. Eddie Guerrero and The Rock as well, but one is dead and the other in movies. I think Undetaker and Mr. Kennedy are two I enjoy watching right now. Right now, I don't really have many favorites. I watch WWE infrequently, and I don't like TNA. I used to like guys like Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, Ricky Steamboat, Ted Dibiase, Ric Rude, Curt Hennig. As for efedders, aside from myself I give much props to the ladies. Beverly and Missy are two of the best I know. I dread anyone who has to promo against Missy, and I say this from experience. She can write and stand toe to te with the best of them. To the new guys, If you don't know what I mean, read her blogs. Beverly is the type of roleplayer who tries to bring out the best in her opponent. All I know is that when I would promo against her, my promos would get alot better, and I think she did that on purpose. I also give her kudos for being able to at one point create & run an e-fed by herself, GM 2 other feds, write all the matches by herself at one point, have 5 characters (NBA free agents and herself), while still writing exceptional matches and promos, have a full time job, being a single mom, and being the sweetest person that I know online. I am not even going to mention about the heart condition. I don't think she truly gets the respect she deserves. And I really mean that. Also, I'd like to mention Mr. Natural, Ben (when he wants to he is truly amazing), and Ethan Everhart. Honorable mention to Eddie G. Some of the new guys here are pretty damn good as well, but that's because they may be new here, but not new to the scene. I give props to Jimmy Ice as well. Alot of other guys to mention, but I give it up to those who have more than one character and still give quality promos.
Q: What would you like to see from NBA in the new year? Anything new you would like to see your, or anyone elses, character involved in? What storylines would you like to see?
A: I want to see less titles (without the other brands it makes no sense), more competitiveness. I would like to see you guys take your time with the Beverly storyline and continue making new ones. I would like to see some of our regular guys get a push (i.e. V.I.P, Ethan Everhart). I wouldn't mind being part of another major storyline. Have a minor storyline going as well, just to involve everyone. I don't really have too many ideas right now, but I'll get back to you on that.
Q: Any last comments or questions of your own?
A: None, for now.
