Forgiveness is the key to action and freedom.
Fade in on a serious looking Dave McIntyre. For once the NBA superstar is alone, without his frieds tostand beside him. He is still feeling the effects of the Devils Playground match in PWO only a few weeks ago, mixed with the aftermath of a hangover from last nights fun and games, its safe to say Dave is in a bad mood.
As we pan out, we get a look at Dave's surroundings for the first time, and its hard to beleive. This man was perhaps one of the most cold blooded and calculatingly evil men in the history of the business and he is sitting in a beautiful old church. As the sun filters in through the stain glassed windows, it bathes Dave in a warm multi coloured glow, making him almost look angelic. Dave sits still for a few moments, before bowing his head in apparent prayer.
McIntyre: Oh heavenly father, I come to you today, to ask for strength. Let me find the strength, deep inside myself to make me a better man. Help me to find the strength that I know I have to stand before the whole world, and ask for forgivness.
You see, In my life I have done alot of questionable things. Deception, adultary, murder, greed, evney, lust, I have been known to stop at nothing to get what I truly crave......power.
But now........now I have everything I ever wanted, but my soul remains uncleansed, i thought getting everything I ever wanted would make me happy father, but it hasen't, all it has brought me is hate and bitterness.
Take Anthony for example, this guy is trying to stop my rise to the top here in NBA. He is trying to take away my dream, trying to take away perhaps the last chance I have of lifting gold, and I had to ask myself why? Today it hit me...
He was doing your bidding, he was trying to save me from myself, trying to save me from what I am becomming. He could see the same things you did, and he is trying to put a stop to them.
Dave gets off the bench and walksto the very front of the church, where a great wooden cross rises from floor to celing. Dave gets down on his knees in front of the tool that was used to put the son of god to his death.
McIntyre: So again, I ask for forgiveness father. Cause you see, if you think what I did in the past was bad.........you haven't see anything yet!
Dave raises his head and flashes his famous cocky smile, before getting to his feet and dusting himself down.
McIntyre: Anthony Tarantino......your days are numbered son!
Dave reaches into his pocket and pulls out the Ace of Hearts, he looks at it for a moment before pulling out his zippo. With a quick fulid flick, Dave sets his card alight.
The flames leave dancing shadows on the church walls as Dave stands grinning, his face looking a picture of evil in the light of the flames.
McIntyre: See you in Hell!
Dave tosses the card onto the floor of the church and wanders out, as the camera zooms in on the burning card.
